MBABANE – Minister of Education Lady Howard Mabuza has announced that the current schools’ mid-term break has been extended and schools will now reopen on Tuesday, 5 July 2022. This means that pupils will no longer be expected to resume classes this coming Tuesday.
Minister Mabuza explained that “This decision was made following consultations with education stakeholders, who made a formal request to the Ministry to allow teachers and pupils to rest a bit longer. The rest of the revised school calendar, however, remains the same.”
“The Ministry would like to thank parents, teachers and pupils for their dedication and commitment since the opening of our ‘unusual’ first term on 5 April 2022,” added Minister Mabuza.
