MBABANE – Her Majesty Indlovukazi Ntombi Tfwala has emphasised that there will be no violence in the country if people can truly repent and seek the Kingdom of God.
She was speaking during the Good Friday sermon held at Lobamba National Church.
After Her Majesty’s key address, different church leaders curated the sayings of Jesus on the cross, the seven expressions biblically attributed to his crucifixion
Her Majesty the Queen Mother encouraged Emaswati to hold on to God and not be led astray.
Worth noting is that Good Friday service commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and his death at Calvary.
It is one of the most significant days for Christians across the globe and is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday.
“We ought to be a peaceful Nation if we all chose to stick to the word of God,” she said.
Her Majesty further reminded the Nation that the bible came to the country through King Somhlolo. One night, he had a prophetic vision where he saw men who brought two things with them. The first was a book and the second a round piece of metal. Therefore, she alluded that today the country and churches are being destroyed because people have defiled the late Somhlolo and started chasing after the round piece
Among those who attended the commemoration of the death of Jesus were the Emakhosikati to His Majesty the King, members of the royal household, the right honourable Prime Minister and his Deputy, Cabinet Ministers, and senior government officials.
