MBABANE -… A true special form of art!
Tutu Mkhabela has broken barriers with his self-taught fine artistry, using charcoal, graphite and colour pencils to create a true special form art.
The artist will showcase his art at the Alliance Francaise in Mbabane this coming Saturday.
When sought for comment on the art exhibition, Mkhabela said that the exhibition is titled ‘Fragments of my life’.
“My work is inspired by everything I have gone through in my life and most importantly, I am inspired by women because of their tireless efforts to put food on the table for their children,” said Mkhabela.
Mkhabela also said that this was his way of advocating for the end of domestic and sexual abuse on women and children in the country.
“I use charcoal for most of my drawings and my drawings are self-taught. I would advise upcoming artist to think outside the box at all times and to use what they have in their disposal to create a masterpiece,” said the creative.
