MANZINI – Senator Linda Nxumalo and Pastor Zandile Thwala are among the speakers who have been unveiled for the seventh edition of Break Your Shell Mother’s Day High Tea that will take place on May 11 at the George Hotel.

Other speakers are Minister Tebogo Modisane, Thokozile Vilakati Jele, and Pastor Mangwe.

The Break Your Shell Eswatini also revealed the artists who will perform at the Mother’s Day celebrations. They are Nondumiso Nhleko and Bhelekazi Kunene, including Emihle De, who is a poet.

The When Women Worship Team brings to Eswatini lion eagle queens the day of celebration titled ‘Break Your Shell’ Mother’s Day, which is expected to kick off at 8:30am. The theme for this year is ‘Arise to Your Story!’ and the theme colour is angelic white, and any colour gloves.

When reached for comment, Pastor Phiwayinkhosi Mabuza confirmed the speakers and the artists billed for the Mother’s Day celebration. Mabuza, who is the pioneer of the Break Your Shell Eswatini Mother’s Day Celebration, shared with this publication that they started this celebration in 2017.

According to Mabuza, they started with a handful of women in 2017 at the Theatre Club, and they have seen God as women give their time, setting everything aside to be celebrated in a different but special way. “The build-up over the years had been humbling. We are expecting the number to increase even this year, hence we request that the ladies secure their seats as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”

Mabuza went on to add that last year, local and international powerful esteemed speakers stood out and made a stride in impacting humanity in their diversified calling. According to Mabuza, the last Mother’s Day celebration was a success, as they had additional tables bought by companies to fill the hall, which was humbling.  Renowned speaker Dr Apostle Alex Tsela from South Africa was among  the speakers last year.

All young and old ladies are invited from all walks of life. Mabuza concluded by saying they appreciate all the support that they have received annually from the cooperative, churches, and individuals who guide how they can improve each year. “This year, 2024, we can assure the nation that the best of 2024’s Mother’s celebration is here! Dress up, show up, and be geared to enjoy.”

The entry ticket cost is E550 per person and E4, 400 for a corporate table for eight people.
