These were the advisory words of clerk to Parliament Benedict Xaba after the official swearing in of the appointed and elected senators at the House of Parliament at Lobamba today.

“You heard the nation at Sibaya say that they want Service Delivery, and that requires that you be accessible,” added Xaba, before jokingly declaring that all senators will be signed up for Twitter to be accessible.

Attorney General Mashampu Khumalo also gave the senators some words of advice and congratulations.

“The oath you took here today is not lip service, but a pledge of true allegiance and faithfulness. It is a pledge of allegiance to the King and to the nation,” advised Khumalo.
