NHLANGANO – Jay Mbiza from South Africa spirit of praise and Nyawo from Uzalo to land in Eswatini.
The 1st annual Gospel Festival confirmed by Ndzinisa Ndumiso, the manager of SKG Records. SKG is an acronym for Samkelo Kenny Gatsheni. This event will be hosted by SKG records and it will be taking place at Calvary church, Nhlangano. This will commence on the 17th of December 2022 where there will be various of artists to performs during the show. SKG Records is a Gospel musical company; the recording studio is located around Nhlangano at Mathendele.
When reached for comment, artist Samkelo Gatsheni, the founder of the recording studio stated that their aim is to see Shiselweni hosting massive, incredible shows, having good backing vocalists and instrumentalists that can be used in any region. This event will be annual starting from 17 December. Ndlovu stated that they have seem a gap in the Shiselweni region since most Gospel artists normally book the Manzini corridor for event hosting. Basically, this has raised eyebrows to Ndzinisa and Ndlovu.
There will be having local and national artists which includes; Jay Mbiza from South Africa as mentioned above, Nyawo from Uzalo, Siyabonga Dlamini, Thami Pastor Bae Ndlovu, Phetsile Masilela, Samkelo Kenny G, Celu T, Sphiwe Ndoni, Bishop Maculuve, Make Bishop Maculuve, Nhlanganiso, Mpela Ndwandwe, Scelimphilo Zwane, Pastor Scara Maziya, Mzayoni, Zanele Pearl, Machawe Simelane, Portia Praise. Dr N Mbuli Bible Society will be one of the guest speakers.
‘We have a dream of helping talented people and to see them improve musically and we want our region to shine as it is labelled, isgodzi esinamandla. Notably, this region has not been given any chance to such opportunities and that is where we come in’ said Ndlovu.
