SHUKUMA ESWATINI HEADING TO TIMPHISINI INKHUNDLA

MBABANE – Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima is set to lead Shukuma Eswatini on Saturday at Timphisini Inkhundla, Hhohho Region.

Shukuma Eswatini is the flagship of the Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC) programme, which encourages mass participation in sports and physical activities for people of all ages and gender group.

The event will start at 8am at the Timphisini Inkhundla. It usually start with an about 5km-10km walk/run and the get down to the different sporting codes games including athletics, tug of war, boxing, cricket, table tennis, judo, teqball, martial arts and rugby among others.

ESRC Media Officer Dumisani Ntiwane announced on Wednesday that Timphisini Inkhundla was next on the line in hosting the event. He invited the community members to come in their numbers and enjoy the day by getting into physical activities.

After Timphisini, Shukuma Eswatini will visit Mtfongwaneni Inkhundla on June 29.

ESRC through the Shukuma Eswatini has already visited three continuances this year being Manzini South, Dvokodvweni and Sandleni.
