LUDZIDZINI – Umngani wemaKhosi Sifiso Mashampu Khumalo has announced that Sibaya has been postponed to Friday.
This has been caused by the torrential rains that started on Saturday until 31 October 2023 (Yesterday). The heavy pour from Saturday saw the 7th day of the Sibaya People’s Parliament cut short on Monday (30 October 2023) to allow Emaswati to travel home safely.
In fact, it was hoped that on Tuesday (31 October 2023), which was supposed to be the last day, will be rain free.
Even though provisions such as tents were made available for Emaswati not to be drenched, His Majesty the King saw it fix that Tuesday’s Sibaya be postponed to Friday with the hope that the weather conditions will be favorable.
Weather projections reflect that on Friday (3 November 2023) temperatures will range between 10 to 21 degrees Celsius.
