ELUDZIDZINI – Many attendees continue to give out their submissions today covering many issues. They all wait eagerly with their hands raised so they can speak.
Phineas Dlamini spoke about those going into parliament and he asked for measures to be put into place to combat corruption.
Another attendee from the youth Sabelo Magagula spoke in distress about how the youth struggle to get jobs in the current generation. He said, “We struggle to get jobs and those that get jobs only get paid E1 500 a month. We are struggling with the current salaries that the youth receive and the cost of living is getting higher. We have to take care of our parents and pay for rent. The money is not enough. We are suffering”.
Sihlangu Mahlambi spoke on the issue that roads are not being addressed
“Many areas have bad roads where after rainfall it gets muddy that traveling becomes impossible,” he said.
He continued to say, “We need action with the roads. Another issue is that it is very difficult to get scholarships to get and education. So it feels that not all of us are able to get aid to get education.”
Members of the public are currently engaged in a panel discussion where some influential members of the public are currently asking questions.
