MBABANE – In a thrilling display of talent and determination, Siteki United clinched the Build it Under-13 Championship title with a decisive 3-1 victory over Young Stars Academy.

The game was played on Saturday (May 18, 2024) at KaLanga Technical Centre.

As the referee blew the final whistle, Siteki United players and coaches erupted in joy, celebrating their hard-fought victory and their status as Build It Under-13 Champions.

The match began with an electrifying pace, as both teams created chances and demonstrated impressive teamwork. Siteki United’s attacking prowess was on full display, with their forwards relentlessly pressuring the Young Stars’ defence.

Their efforts paid off when they scored the opening goal midway during the first half. The highly-awaited match showcased the skill and passion of both teams, but ultimately, it was Siteki United who emerged victorious.

Young Stars Academy’s Eyenkhosi Nhlabatsi’s exceptional performance throughout the tournament earned him the player of the tournament award, adding a silver lining to Young Stars Academy’s runner-up finish.

The winners were presented with trophy, medals and bags among others things. There were eight teams that compete for the title.
