MBABANE -The senior Eswatini National team, also known as Sitsebe SaMhlekazi, is gearing up to face Burkina Faso in the second leg of their match in the Ivory Coast on September 26, 2023, at 1800hrs.
Last weekend, the team played their first leg match in Eswatini at the Somhlolo National Stadium, where Burkina Faso emerged victorious with a 3-2 win against the home team.
Despite the loss, the Eswatini National team remains confident and determined to redeem themselves in the upcoming match. The team has been training hard and analysing their opponents’ tactics to ensure that they are better prepared to face Burkina Faso in Ivory Coast.
The women’s team head coach Zwelibanzi Khoza, who expressed optimism, said that they have identified areas they need to improve and will work on them during the coming days. He added that they will adopt a strategic approach to the game that would enable them to do better.
The second leg match is crucial for both teams, and a win for Eswatini would increase their chances of qualifying for the continental tournament. Fans of Sitsebe SaMhlekazi are optimistic that the team will give their all and secure a win in the upcoming match.
