MBABANE – Get ready to dance.
Fun lovers should dust up their best pair of jeans and dancing shoes because Umshini hitmaker Slenda da Dancing DJ is coming to Eswatini.
Confirmed, the hitmaker will be in the Kingdom of Eswatini to dish us with her DJ skills in a show at Mega Lounge on 29 July 2023.
It has been gathered that the event is presented by Music in the valley and the line-up features a mix of local and South African artists the likes of Qwabe Twins, Sizwe Mdlalose, Dipsie, DJ Abu, Rocksilver, SOS Sgitha, Tigulu, Lady Zee and Lady G.
According to the show organisers, the show damages are E100 entrance price at the gate and there are no tickets.
It is stated that starting time is 1 pm till late. Lil Dee and Kyos the MC will be hosting the event.
When reached for a comment, the organiser of the event Ayakhe Nhlabatsi mentioned that this is not his first one-man/woman show, he has previously done such shows which featured artists such as Makhadzi at Wendy’s Lodge last year and Busta929 one-man show at Mega Lounge last month just to mention a few.
‘’I know that this event is touching a lot of people and they are already talking about it is yet to come and I am still going to bring in more artists for this event and it’s too much. The team that I have has the same inspiration as me so I work with no problem because I can always count on them to have my back’’, Nhlabatsi cited.
Born Sithabile Zungu, Slenda da dancing DJ took to her Instagram personal page on Monday to confirm that she will be in the country in July.

Zungu became one of DJ Tira’s backup dancers in 2017 and got the opportunity to travel all over the world with him and she then saw a need to grow and develop herself as an artist.
Her DJ career officially took off in 2021 when she was hired by Ukhozi FM as a resident DJ.
Ever since then, she has been bagging deals and she was signed with Smirnoff late last year November 2022 as one of the judges for Shayingoma a competition that provided mentorship for female DJs.
It is safe to say that she has secured her place in the music industry and the future looks even brighter for her.
