This adage rings true for local entertainment establishment Solanis Shisanyama, which will host a show by female DJs today.
The show, dubbed City Girls Up, will see all female DJs put out a great show. The DJs who will be on the line-up include DJ Ash, Chantel, Its All BlaQ, Lady Zee, The Prefect, Miss T, Zee the DJ.
When reached for comment, the Brand and Marketing Manager shared with this publication that their aim is to empower female DJs as the industry is dominated by males, hence the need to host such a show.
It is worth noting that the female line-up show is hosted every Thursday. Last week’s line-up was DJ Ash, Chantel, It’s All Blaq, Lady Zed, The Prefect, and Belinda Chester.
The all-female DJ show will kick off at 5 p.m., and entry is free.
