MALKERNS – With only three weeks left until the fifth edition of the Epic Gig Festival, a few South African artists have confirmed that they will be performing at this year’s show.
The artists who have sent confirmation videos so far are Buffalo Souljah, Eemoh, Mickey M 1632, Usimamane, Aubrey Qwana, and Mayeem. This was confirmed by Festival Director Tammy Toxik Dlamini, who shared that more artists will be sharing their confirmation videos as the build-up continues.
The Epic Gig Festival will be held at Malkerns Country Club on June 28–29.
The fifth edition of the festival line-up includes South African talented DJ and record producer Morda, born Bongani Mohosana, known professionally as Morda or Murda Bongz. He is also a dancer, singer, record producer, and member of the musical band Black Motion. M Nation, Eemoh, Imacsoul,Mayeem, and Chantel. South African hip-hop artists Emtee, Maglera Doe Boy, Nkosazana Daughter, Pearl Thusi, Buffalo Souljah, Aubrey Qwana, School Boy Que, Sne, Toxik, Mickey M 1632, Trend Twins, Sir Teazy, Smaggz, Maradonna, Maphi, Khuni, Pearl, Just Fisiwe, Cnatra, Its All Blaq, and Bisto.
The Epic Gig concept was founded in 2017 by Tammy Toxic Dlamini, who wanted to have a show with a rich line-up that was epic, which has maintained its consistency with a rich line-up for the last four festivals.
Last year’s festival saw South African artists like Kwesta, YoungstaCPT, Mlindo the Vocalist, Blxckie Maglera Doe Boi, 25K, A Reece, and Aymos perform. Local artists included Toxik, Rowen The Vth, Fantacy, Tella, Aya City, Bu The Drum, Sir Teazy, Tilungu, Kangaroo, Itsallblaq, Bay Bash, The Bishops, DJExpo, Bisto, and Eimsofy, and many more, including The Freshmen.
