SOUTH KOREA DONATES 170 LAPTOPS, 35 PRINTERS TO FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTRY

MBABANE – South Korea has done it again.

The Government of South Korea has donated 170 laptops and 35 printers to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Affairs.

During the presentation of the equipment held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, South Korea Ambassador to Eswatini, His Excellency Wonsok Choi, committed that South Korea will continue to work with the Kingdom of Eswatini.

“I would like to reaffirm the willingness of the Korean Government to accompany the Kingdom of Eswatini in its development efforts,” said Choi.

The Government of South Korea is already deliberating on which sectors it will assist the Kingdom of Eswatini in during the following, as revealed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Thulisile Dladla.

“Already we have spoken and discussed how they will help the country next year. They are definitely coming again next year to help the country,” said Dladla.

The minister also commended the relationship between the two countries, as Eswatini has gained a lot in the relationship. Her words were echoed by Chairperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ overseeing committee Sibusiso Nxumalo, who revealed that the laptops will assist parliamentarians in the newly introduced e-parliament system.

This is not the first time that the Government of South Korea has assisted the Government of Eswatini through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. In March 2022, they donated five cars to the ministry.
