SOUTH KOREA PRESENTS 5 CARS TO MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

MBABANE – The Kingdom of Eswatini continues to develop good relations with countries around the world, as evidenced by South Korea’s recent comments and gestures towards Eswatini. The South Korean Ambassador to Mozambique took a moment to present 5 cars to the Eswatini Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The gift was presented to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Thuli Dladla at the Ministry’s offices in Mbabane. “It is with a profound sense of fraternity, humility, and great appreciation, that I receive on behalf of Their Majesties, the government, and the entire nation of the Kingdom of Eswatini this generous donation executive vehicles for use by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Thank you so much our friends and partners,” she said.

Minister Dladla continued, “Councillor, South Korea remains our committed and consistent cooperation partner, working hand in hand with the people of the Kingdom Eswatini, throughout our longstanding bilateral and diplomatic partnership, dating back to when Eswatini realised her independence in 1968 – to achieve the nation’s socioeconomic ambitions in the areas of education, healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure”


Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Korean Ambassador to Mozambique Il Jea Lee said, “It is the sincere hope of my country that these vehicles provided today will be of help to the honourable Kingdom of Eswatini and its people. I would also like to take this opportunity to reiterate Korea’s continued friendship and support for the Kingdom of Eswatini.

On behalf of my government, I would like to once again thank the Kingdom of Eswatini for its continued support and friendship through all these years, despite the distance between our capitals,” concluded the Ambassador.

The South Korean manufactured cars will be used for diplomatic trips within the Kingdom of Eswatini.
