MBABANE– Mbabane you are up.

Since the announcement of the biggest comeback in the entertainment scene, the Spirit of  Hip Hop.

Followers and fun lovers would be happy to know that this year’s edition will not only be bigger and better but central and closer too.

Today So Fresh announced that the acclaimed Hip Hop show is making a comeback on July 29, 2023, at the Albert Millin.

Worth noting is that the last edition of the event was held at Esibayeni Lodge and was fairly attended by hip-hop heads in the country.

The stables took to their social media pages to announce the event, which was well-received by locals and hip-hop heads in the country.

Meanwhile, one of the event organizers and a hip-hop pioneer KRTC said they were looking forward to unpacking the event in the next coming months.

By unpacking he meant information like the venue, artists and everything alike.

“We are excited to announce Spirit of Hip Hop, an exciting concept for all hip-hop lovers. There is more to come and we promise to deliver nothing but the best.

“Hold onto your seats and keep your eyes glued to all our social media platforms because we are about to bring to you an experience to remember,” said KRTC

The last Spirit of Hip Hop was nothing short of amazing, as South African Hip hop artists set the bar high.

In 2019 Reason delivered nothing but the best and started his set with his then-latest hit song ‘Ngiyamthanda’.

He went on to perform all the hit songs as well as a couple from the ‘Azania’ album.

This was followed by an electric freestyle segment which saw him steal the show and he also gave fans a chance to join him.

The highlight of the night for fans was when Reason left the stage and joined the crowd to interact with them. He indeed delivered a great and unforgettable performance.

He was later joined by Kid X as they performed their song titled ‘SkebeDepDep ’.

They had hip-hop lovers screaming and singing along.  Kid X took to the stage and performed his hit songs ‘Sorry Makhe’, ‘Auntie’, ‘Pass n Special’, and more.

Kid X mentioned that it was always great to be in Eswatini because the revelers always overwhelm him with love and the response to his delivery.
