MBABANE – Studio 1 returns with a bang and new hosts!
The new season of Studio 1 premiered on Eswatini TV last month. The program airs every Saturday at 6pm and is presented by its dynamic new hosts, Naledi Dlamini and Clifford Dludlu.
Studio 1 is a music show and its return was confirmed by Senior Marketing Communication and Brand Officer (SMCBO) Nomcebo Malinga.
Malinga said, “Eswatini TV is thrilled to announce the triumphant return of its beloved music-focused show, ‘Studio 1.’ After a brief hiatus, the show is back with a bang, promising exciting content, fresh faces, and captivating performances.”
Malinga shared the history of the programme with this publication. She said, “Studio 1 has been a staple in Eswatini’s entertainment scene, celebrating local talent, music, and culture. The show’s previous seasons were co-presented by the renowned Uncle Waffles as its charismatic hosts.” Malinga said some of the previously featured interviewees were artists such as Lluci Gang Child and Mala Triggerson, and people on the move such as Jason Martin (skateboarder) and Sithembiso ‘Sthera’ Kunene (actor).
According to Malinga, the first episode of the new season aired on Eswatini TV on April 6th, and it was nothing short of spectacular. She concluded by saying, “Don’t miss out! Studio 1 continues to air every Saturday at 6pm on Eswatini TV. Whatever genre the viewer prefers, they are sure to be entertained.”
