MBABANE – The Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Scholarship Unit, has opened an opportunity for Emaswati interested in studying in Russia.
Through a statement by the Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry S.M. Mndawe, the Ministry announced that 20 scholarships have been provided for Emaswati to study in Russia for various Bachelor’s Degrees. The PS revealed that this opportunity is availed through the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Russian Federation.
“Students interested in Studying in Russian Universities are encouraged to apply,” reads part of the statement.
The statement further provides the following website as the application portal where they can also upload their particulars: https://education-in-russia.com/
Students interested in the scholarship are expected to provide their Form 5 certificates, a copy of the main page of their passport, and a signed consent to process personal data along with the signed application form.
Other requirements for the Russia scholarships are that students must be below 25 years of age, have a minimum of 35 points and above in 5 subjects (5 credits), and the intended Programmes of study should be in the Government of Eswatini’s list of Priority Programmes of Study which the Government funds.
