MALKERNS– Now that the dust has settled and the fire has to be reignited for the last day, people have described Supa CDQ and Kabza de Small’s performance as historical.

Firstly it was Supa CDQ packing the main stage at exactly 8:00 pm. As soon as he touched his decks and fixed his handset, the hip-hop DJ started over the mixed-race crowd with easy classic tunes.

Having mentioned that he studied his crowd, Supa knew the right songs to play and the transaction in between heightened everyone’s energies and it was excited screams everywhere.

Needless to say, this was Supa’s first time playing on the main stage and he handled it like a professional high in his own good work.

From hit songs like Rands and Narias to Beyonce’s Party and Big Zulu’s Imali no festival goer was left behind in terms of genre.

Shortly after his performance Supa CDQ said he was happy with the reception he received from the crowd.

“I did not know there would be so many people in support of me, I’m both happy and humbled by this reception and I’m glad I studied the crowd and they delivered,” he said.

Now, another highlight of day two would have to be the stampede at the Ballantines stage where excited festival goers headed to witness South African Amapiano God do his thing.

Taking to the stage at exactly 11:00 am, Kabza found a packed arena where there were over 5000 people who crammed the stage.

The arena was so packed people spilt over to the Amstel stage, Omega and MTN Eswatini stage.

Kabza the Small played tracks from his albums and included other artists in his set.
