MBABANE – You have seen the countless movies, remakes, animated specials and imitations of ‘Christmas Carols’ now experience the original story as it was meant to be told at Swazi Plaza tomorrow.
The Swazi Plaza Properties in collaboration with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa Music Organisation Band is going to host a Christmas Carols night on December 9, 2022.
You know Christmas is just around the corner when malls put up their decorations and everything seems brighter, more cheerful, magical and happier. This year is no different thanks to Swazi Plaza as they are bringing back carols after a long time of absentia.
“As the year draws to a close, the festive season and cheer spreads. On that note, we would like to bring you a night of Christmas warmth and celebration with renditions of your favourite Christmas carols by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa Music Organization Band.
“You can come enjoy a night out with loved ones with meals and drinks from any of our eateries at the Swazi Plaza Food court on the evening of December 9, 2022,” read the social media statement from Swazi Plaza.
In addition to that it was revealed that dining tables will be set out at the food court area for you and yours to enjoy a night coupled with nostalgic melodies.
In holiday history, Christmas music comprises a variety of genres of music regularly performed or heard around the Christmas season.
Music associated with Christmas may be purely instrumental, or, in the case of carols or songs, may employ lyrics whose subject matter ranges from the nativity of Jesus Christ, to gift-giving and merrymaking, to cultural figures such as Santa Claus, among other topics.
Many songs simply have a winter or seasonal theme, or have been adopted into the canon for other reasons.
A number of people received the news about Christmas making a comeback well. They mentioned how they cannot wait to witness the event.
