MBABANE – Think Durban July, but in Eswatini!
The Swazi Polo is back with the second edition, presented by SwaziBoy Entertainment.
The date for this year’s edition is September 7, 2024. This was confirmed by SwaziBoy Public Relations Officer PRO Nokwanda Sibandze on Tuesday.
Sibandze shared with this publication that the venue for this year’s edition will be confirmed soon, and that they were bringing back sophistication and glamour with this year’s edition.
“SwaziBoy Entertainment is happy to announce the return of the Swazi Polo, an event dedicated to celebrating music and fashion under the sun. We are excited to announce that the event will be held on September 7 at a venue to be announced,” she said.
Sibandze shared that they were looking forward to a bigger second edition and were excited to host mature fun lovers.
It is worth mentioning that last year the event was hosted at the Manzini Club. Some of the artists who performed at the first edition were the legendary Thebe, Sthelo, Nomfundo Moh, The Bishops, Supa CDQ, Touch of Soul, Crooks, Ntombs, and many others.
The event was hosted by Zindzi Thwala and Mbongeni Mbingo as programme directors.
“Last year, the event was hosted on the last week of September, and we chose the same month again because we want to welcome Spring with nothing but good music and good vibes. We invite everyone to stay locked on our social media platforms to ensure that they receive updates so they get tickets as soon as we release them,” she added.
Sibandze concluded by saying that they were looking forward to hosting some of the most anticipated artists in the space and could not wait for everyone to enjoy the second edition of the event.
