MBABANE – Eswatini Tourism Authority acting CEO Simphiwe Ngubeni has announced an online competition for domestic tourists called “EswatiniEasterAdventure” and “SwenkaNgeNkozo.”
Ngubeni announced the competition today during the launch of the ETA Easter Campaign at the Summerfield Bonitical Gardens and Exclusive Resort.
He said the competition gives Emaswati the opportunity to win prizes, including airline tickets, breakfast, lunch, and dinner vouchers, as well as accommodation vouchers.
He said to participate, individuals must share a photo of their Easter adventure in Eswatini on Facebook or Instagram with the caption “#EswatiniEasterAdventure” and “#SwenkaNgeNkonzo.” The entry with the most likes will be declared the overall winner.
He said the competition begins on Wednesday and will ends on March 20, 2024.
He stated that a comprehensive media campaign has been launched, which will include adverts, interviews, and profiling of tourist destinations in an effort to maintain Eswatini as the preferred tourist destination.
He noted that the media campaign will be targeting regional and local markets, and will include partnerships with Ukhozi FM, Radio 2000, Ligwalagwala FM, Eswatini TV, Eswatini Observer, Eswatini Broadcasting Information Services, Voice of the Church, and the Movie Zone. He said that these partnerships will help showcase the campaign.
