In his address, Minister Wu said the timing of the Prime Minister’s visit was very significant.

“This year marks not only the 55th anniversary of Eswatini’s Independence as well as King Mswati III’s 55th birthday, but also 55 years since Taiwan and Eswatini established diplomatic relations,” said Wu.

He also stated that the two allies have engaged in long-term cooperation in terms of trade, public health, agriculture, education and ICT, benefitting the people of both countries.

The Prime Minister stated that Taiwan is an important partner for Eswatini, which has been a constant friend to Eswatini from which it has learned a lot, amid an ever-changing geopolitical landscape.
