MBABANE– A lot of emaSwati are advancing through the relationship between Eswatini and Taiwan and the impacts are far-reaching.
In a show of love for locals course, Taiwan Technical Mission and Tex Ray Group in Eswatini reached out to disadvantaged children in rural communities at Mafutseni Neighbourhood Care Point.
Yesterday, more than 200 disadvantaged children in the community of Mafutseni received a set of stationery and clothes from the CEO Tony Lin of Tex Ray Group and Chief Fernando Yeh of the Taiwan Technical Mission.
“Our hope is to use the power of education to help disadvantaged children in the community unlock a brighter future,” said Yeh.
In other activities, the Technical Mission has also assisted rural women in Eswatini to find opportunities for side businesses through training and creativity.
This was done through three customized baking courses held at the Malkerns Food Training Centre between the dates April 16 and April 28, 2023. Each session had 40 participants who, under the guidance of professional Home Economics Government Officers, came up with many innovative baking ideas.
“Thank you for your continual support in enhancing improvement and development in our communities,” read a comment.
