MANZINI – Pupils at St. Michael’s High School are in for a treat as the Epic Gig School Tour descends on the school this Friday, June 8, 2024, promising a musical explosion.
Manzini pupils are invited to attend the tour’s first stop, scheduled to take place at St. Michael’s from 1pm to 4pm. For an entrance fee of E10, they will get to experience a spectacular blend of music and learning as the tour’s brand ambassadors share their expertise and knowledge on their theme.
Introducing the Epic Gig School Tour’s theme, “It’s OK to Be Different,” is an opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness and individuality of every student. Through this message, the tour seeks to encourage students to embrace their authentic selves, celebrate their diversity, and embrace their differences.
The Epic Gig School Tour is not just an opportunity to learn, but also a chance to have fun and enjoy various activities. As an added attraction, there will be a talent show where students can showcase their skills and win exciting prizes. The event will feature the energetic artist Sancheziey and the promising young DJ Corrosive, who will bring their unique styles and vibrant personalities to keep the attendees thoroughly entertained.
In an interview with this publication, Loyce Kayitesi Kayitare, the Communications Officer for the Epic Gig School Tour, revealed that the tour’s schedule has been inspired by the responses from their online community.
“We are visiting schools that have shown the highest engagement with our Facebook page. This shows us where our message resonates the most. Our brand ambassadors will be the stars of the show, sharing their personal experiences and advice on our theme, ‘It’s OK to Be Different,’ while also having a good time with our young attendees,” said Kayitare.
The Epic Gig School Tour is extending its invitation to other schools to participate in their unique blend of learning and entertainment. Schools interested in hosting the tour can express their interest by commenting on the tour’s Facebook page. The school with the most reactions to their comment will be selected as their next stop on the tour.
