MBABANE– As May 26th draws near, choral music fans eagerly await the moment when talented choirs will converge at Esibayeni Lodge for an unforgettable battle of melodies, harmonies, and vocal prowess.

The battle of the choirs is expected to kick off at 9am and last until 5pm.
During an interview with the President of the Eswatini National Choral Music Association, Sihle Gumbi, he ensured that the preparations for the upcoming choral competition were at an advanced stage and choirs are ready to showcase their talents.

He also encouraged those who were interested in participating in future events to visit the association for guidance on hosting rehearsals. The invitation underscores the organisation’s dedication to supporting the growth of choral music by nurturing local talent and providing a platform for musical expression.

Several choirs are expected to partake in the competition, including the Asihlabelele Choral Society, Emmanuel Methodist Church, His Majesty’s Correctional Services Choir, Manzini Choir, Eswatini Mighty Voices, Eswatini Choir, Sweet Sounds, Pure Voices, and Tingculungculu Choir, to name a few. These ensembles will go head-to-head, vying for the coveted title.
