EZULWINI– On behalf of His Majesty’s Government the Minister of Commerce Industry and Trade representative Meluleki Dlamini has pledged support for the MTN 21 Days of Yellow care.
This took place during the official launch of MTN 21 Days of Yellow Care earlier today.
Dlamini said the Government wished to express their sincere gratitude to MTN for the change they bring with their campaign.
“The project focus on the youths resonates well with His Majesty’s Government’s vision of empowering young people by imparting valuable skills which also include exploring waste value chains. The Government encourages cooperation with local and international partnerships trying to transform the country’s youth into entrepreneurs thereby generating employment and skills,” he said
In addition, he said MTN Eswatini contributes towards the national development agenda through job creation, taxes, investment opportunities, boosting GDP, and poverty alleviation.
Dlamini further said in a significant way, MTN Eswatini has been very instrumental in the Post COVID-19 Economic Recovery Plan launched by His Majesty’s Government in August 2020, by providing opportunities to Emaswati the midst of and after the COVID-19 storm.
“As His Majesty’s Government, we are keen on attracting and supporting investment that offers skills and jobs, encourages entrepreneurship, and provides the opportunity to improve the lives of emaSwati. “On behalf of His Majesty’s Government, I wish to congratulate the Board, Management and staff of MTN Eswatini for your hard work, dedication and sacrifices over the years and wish you a successful 21 days of yellow care, and beyond,” he said.
