Ludzidzini – In a powerful display of collective concern and determination, the seventh day of the Sibaya meetings unfolded at Ludzidzini, as EmaSwati from all walks of life gathered to express their grievances and hopes for the nation’s future. The day began with impassioned discussions about the ongoing event, the panelists, and the imminent closing of Sibaya tomorrow.

Majuba Mdlovu, voiced his concerns about the allocation of government aid. He emphasized that while support for the youth is crucial, the older generation should not be overlooked. Mdlovu stressed the need for assistance and support to be extended to all, regardless of age. He grieved that despite the multitude of voices at Sibaya, only a few are being heard due to limited speaking slots.

Another attendee, Menzi Ndlangamandla, highlighted the significance of Sibaya as a platform for the public to voice their concerns. He praised the submissions made by EmaSwati, highlighting the opportunity the event provides for addressing critical issues. Ndlangamandla expressed his satisfaction that ordinary people were being given the chance to be heard, emphasizing the democratic essence of the event.

Throughout the day, participants seized the opportunity to make their submissions, marking a departure from the usual format involving panel discussions. Citizens from diverse backgrounds and experiences shared their concerns, hopes, and suggestions, making it a day primarily dedicated to amplifying the voices of the public.
