MANZINI– Vendors happy about offer.
A new concept at the XChange Lounge and Shisanyama has vendors smiling from ear to ear and flocking to the establishment to showcase their goods.
The establishment has given vendors the platform to sell all kinds of goods for free at the establishment.
The concept was strategised by the team at the establishment in an attempt to assist vendors who were also hit-hard financially by the COVID-19 pandemic in Manzini to have Sundays to sell the wares.
Zama Gama, who spoke on behalf of the establishment, mentioned that the Flea Market Sunday concept kicked off earlier this month and will continue running throughout the year.
“We believe in consistency. If we are consistent with this concept more people will get to know about it and attract more people to do their shopping on cheaper and even on a Sunday.
“A lot of businesses here in Manzini were hit hard by the pandemic and all we can do is extend a helping hand to those who need it the most so they get back on their feet too,” said Gama.
Gama also said that these small gestures assisted in boosting the economy.
“In order for the economy to recover, money needs to move around which is why we offered free venue for anyone who wants to make money or grow their clientele and business the opportunity to do so,” said Gama.
During an interview with vendors, they expressed excitement and gratitude towards the establishment.

This is the first time I’m hearing about it probably because I am based in Mbabane. I am excited about this because everywhere you see a stall put up, we pay for it and sometimes we leave events without making money so this is really good to know.

One of my sisters has been there and told me that the establishment always has people going there. I think that it will grow bigger and we will have a diverse flea market.
