MPAKA – Junior Achievement (JA) Eswatini envisaged to open a third incubation centre at the Mpaka Vocational Centre.
This was said yesterday (Thursday, May 23, 2024) by JA Eswatini Executive Director Phetsile Masilela during the graduation of 50 youth entrepreneurs. These are students who have been at Mpaka and took part in this program courtesy of the MTN Foundation.
Masilela said the opening of the incubation centre would assist Lubombo youth to have a base for operating their businesses.
“Our Incubation centre provides Internet a business office for all start-up businesses for a period of two years. This is whereby they are required to have their own operating space, opening up space for other youth,” Masilela mentioned.
Representing the MTN Foundation was Thandiwe Mashinini who applaused the Vocational Centre for allowing this partnership to continue for the past six years.
The Registrar of Companies Msebe Malinga was also part of the event, on behalf of the Director of Small, Micro and Medium Enterprise (SMME) Mluleki Dlamini, who was invited as the event guest speaker.
