MBABANE – Lulote BMEP has disclosed the winners of the business plan competition where six entrepreneurs got the opportunity to present their business plans to the panel of judges.
The Business Plan Competition happened yesterday at Lulote BMEP board room where entrepreneurs pitched their business plans and the three winners were announced.
According to Lulote, the first winner is Malwande Matsebula who runs a cosmetic business called Luwanda Cosmetics.
Sifiso Dlamini, who is a vegetable producer and is supplying NAMboard with tomatoes, green peppers, butternut and beetroot, came second.
The third winner is Fezile Matsenjwa who is operating a baking business who is also a Bachelor of Commerce student at UNESWA.
The winners would have access to Lulote BMEP services for free.
The services provided by the organisation include assisting in areas like generating business ideas, starting new businesses or improving on existing ones, developing business plans, market research, client profiling and financial Statements.
The organization also got a chance to visit one of their trainees during the Global entrepreneurship week to monitor progress. This is Make Tfwala who is producing indigenous chickens at Mafutseni.
Tfwala said she is excited about the week because it encourages them as entrepreneurs to continue and improve in their various businesses.
“Lulote has capacitated us on indigenous farming so that we can provide for our families and how we can measure and evaluate our progress and growth while doing this type of farming.
We are so grateful for such trainings,” said Tfwala.
