MBABANE – The U.S. Embassy in Eswatini has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the three pupils selected to participate in the 2024 Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Program (PAYLP).
According to the U.S. Embassy in Eswatini, the students are Ntato Nxumalo from St. Michael’s High School in Manzini, Anyandziswa Gama from St. Mark’s High School in Mbabane, Mayenziwe Gama from Waterford Kamhlaba United World College in Mbabane, and their mentor Siboniso Sihlongonyane from SAIM Christian High School in Mbabane. These pupils will have the opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills.
The three-week program will provide the pupils with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience life in the United States and learn from leaders in their fields.
The U.S. Embassy in Eswatini stated that as part of the program, the four participants will travel to Georgia, Vermont, and Washington D.C., where they would participate in cultural excursions, workshops on leadership and service, interactive training on conflict resolution, presentations, and visits to high schools, among other activities.
