MBABANE – The MTN iPraise Gospel music festival has arranged transport for fans after the event.
The festival will be held on Saturday at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. The transport will be provided from 7 pm to 10 pm. It will run along the Manzini and Mbabane corridor.
Melusi Zikalala from MTN iPraise, said they have arranged transport to assist gospel lovers.
“The transport will assist fans to leave Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre after the show. It will begin taking fans to Mbabane from 7 pm to 10 pm. Fans will be dropped off at the Mbabane Bus Rank to assist them with finding transport closer to their final destination in the evening on the day of the show,” he said.
Zikalala said they will then be able to arrange their own transportation home from the bus rank. Gates will close at 10 pm on Saturday to assist fans in making it home on time to wake up fresh and ready for church on Sunday morning.
The transport cost will be E30 for those going to Mbabane from Mavuso. Fans are advised to arrange a safe way to their homes from the Mbabane Bus Rank, where the transport will drop them off.
Worth noting is that the headline act at the MTN iPraise Gospel Music Festival is Spirit of Praise. Also set to perform are Linda Dlamini, Nothando Dlamini, Shekinah Motsa, Sphiwo Ndoni, Jumbo (SA), Ntenteza Nemakhalanga, Fakazi Khanyile, Africa and Lindo.
This year, MTN iPraise will take place at the outdoor arena. Gospel fans are welcome to bring camp chairs and picnic blankets to the event. The theme of the event is ‘Praise in Colour, so emaSwati should come in their most colourful outfits to honour the theme.
Tickets to the MTN iPraise Gospel Music Festival are available at Destiny Music’s Manzini and Mbabane branches, as well as VOC FM. In addition to the physical ticket outlets that have been added, festival-goers can buy tickets on MoMo Marketplace by saving 7808 4000 as a contact, sending a WhatsApp message saying ‘Hi, and following the prompts.
Tickets are also available on Computicket through the website tickets computicket.com or at Shoprite. Discounted tickets are available only on MoMo Marketplace for E180 (general) adults and E80 (general) kids. Tickets on Computicket and at physical outlets are available at the standard price of E200 (general) and E100 (kids). VIP tickets will remain at E500 on both platforms of this sanitary drive.
