MBABANE – New Year, new deals!
Female dynamic duo Trend Twins have secured an Oukitel Eswatini sponsorship. The DJs shared the news on their page yesterday afternoon. Oukitel manufactures smartphones, rugged phones, rugged tables, and portable power stations.
When reached for comment, Culolami Dlamini, who is the manager of the duo, shared that he was excited and proud of their latest milestone. Oukitel wrote on their Facebook page,’ A very happy day for us at Oukitel partnering with Trend Twins as their sponsor. We look forward to many great events together, road trips to various events and regional countries, and most importantly, taking both brands to a new level of success.”
Trend Twins is an Afro-house duo that consists of two young ladies, namely, Nkosenhle Dlamini and Nosimilo Dlamini, aged 25 and 29 years, respectively. They started as a dance group of six friends, then decided to be DJs. They were inspired by the likes of DJ Shimza, Caiiro, and Da Capo. They started the group in 2016.
The Trend Twins are an Afro-house duo that specialises in Afro-house, Gqom music, and dance. They have shared the stage with the likes of Sho Madjozi, Sjava, Master Kg, Black Motion, Tira, Kwesta, Dj Zinhle, Bholoja, Sands, Dj Fresh, Scorpion Kings, and many more. They have performed internationally in Europe as dancers in countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, and Spain.
The duo has also performed all over Africa in countries such as Nigeria, South Africa, and Mozambique as DJs. Locally, they have performed in all regions and also at most festivals, including MTN BUSHFIRE 2022, ESWATINI_FARMERS_MARKET, Swazi Rally, Eswatini Motorsport Weekend,Solanis Shisanyama, Exchange Lounge and Shisanyama, Esbayeni Lodge, Zhumao Lounge, and many more.
They have also performed at Bush Fire as dancers, House Musiq Fest, Swazi Rally, Imphisi Rally, and many local club and road shows.
The motto is ‘’ OUR AMBITION IS TO BE THE BEST AND ALSO SHOW THE WORLD THAT FEMALES CAN ALSO DOMINATE A MALE-DOMINATED SECTION IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSRTY ’’
