MBABANE-Eswatini’s Trend Twins will be going to Mozambique to perform at the Afro Beat Experience.
The duo who are Nkosenhle Dlamini and Nosimilo Dlamini, are a unique package of female deejays and dance performers also known as ‘The Dancing DeeJays’.
This combination of skills has seen the twins perform on big stages such as the MTN Bushfire Festival which was held in May this year and also a nomination for ‘DJ of the Year’ for the Eswatini Social Media Awards.
The Entertainment Desk interviewed their manager at Melting C Events, Culolam Dlamini about how the twins bagged this deal.
“The twins had a gig at South Beach last month in Maputo and the organizers of the Afro Beat Experience were present at the show and they were really happy about their performance so much that they booked them there and then,” said Dlamini.
Dlamini further mentioned that he was really proud of the twins for their immaculate deejaying skills and that they would be the only female acts on the line up for the Afro Beat Experience. He added that this is going to show that they know and are really good at what they do.
“This is the first time that we will be a part of the event and this its second edition. The event’s line up has Afro house DJs from all over the world,” said Dlamini.
It is worth mentioning that Eswatini female DJs have been making Mozambique dance as they have been captivated by Eswatini’s talented female DJs such as Lady Cream, DJ Lolo and DJ Lady Zee.
