MBABANE– Trooth a virtuoso.
If you have been on Facebook and all other social media platforms, then you know and might have come across the multitalented Nyaniso Nyamane professionally known as ‘Trooth’.
Nyamane can be likened to the likes of Leonardo da Vinci as his work speaks for itself, be it music production, fashion designing and his long time love fine art.
He has drawn many portraits for locals yet he does not feel like he is working every day because he is guided by absolute passion in doing what he loves.
He mentioned that while painting is mostly considered to be the more popular form of artistic expression, drawing is something that even an untrained eye can appreciate.
“I started drawing as young as six years old. Growing up, I was always top of the class in design and technology.’’
When it comes to Eswatini, it is without a doubt that the kingdom has some of the most talented individuals who are doing the most with what they know, but have still not yet been discovered Trooth happens to be one of them.
Trooth is a fine artist, fashion designer, tattoo artist in the making and music producer who is multi-talented and is the future of fine arts in the land.
Nyamane, professionally known as Trooth. Was raised in Manzini and currently staying in Matsapha. The fine artist is a last born in a family of three, who was raised by a single mother.
“I demonstrate an extra-ordinary artistic talent of drawing and painting in a natural manner and I received my formal artistic training from my teachers at National Handicraft Training Center (NHC).
“I started drawing as young as six years old. Growing up, I was always top of the class in design and technology.” He said.
Worth noting is that Trooth has been receiving good reviews from people ever since he started exploring his talent. He always makes sure he delivers amazing work to his customers. The soft spoken lad seems to be a man of few words and lets his work speak for himself
“It is has been so great, to be able to see the transition from where I started to where I’m at right now I get nervous when I think of my growth a few years from now.
Apart from working with Kena he has worked with other artists like Will B, who was also known as Crax. He released a mixtape titled ‘I was Crax’. I have a few collaborations I did with him in it. You should check it out; it’s available on all digital stores he said.
When speaking about his love for fashion he said the love for fashion for him started at a time in his life where he was at his lowest point.
“I got home from South Africa where I was robbed and lost most of my belongings, including my clothes. I got home and I had nothing to wear. Luckily we have a sewing machine at home. So I started cutting down fabrics to make clothing for me to wear. Now I’m getting customers saying they love what I wear and ask me to make something for them. I now earn a few coins from it.” He said.
These he says he is working on portraits ordered by clients. Further working on drawings he is planning to submit to Yebo Art Gallery for an exhibition.
The artist is also pursuing being a tattoo artist last year. He was an apprentice in Tattsbybanger Blkshp studios.
