U.S.  Embassy Officer Ann Newton speaking at the official handover ceremony of the project said they were inspired and happy to see the enthusiasm of the organization entrusted with the grant.

She also mentioned that they were excited to have brought help to those who needed it desperately.

“It is inspiring to see organizations like Sight of Hope working in collaboration with communities in creating facilities that will help improve the lives of emaSwati. The presence of this centre will not only bring the community together for a good course but will also bring the help this community needed desperately,” said Newton.

Worth mentioning is that Sight of Hope supports girls that have been sexually exploited and also offer training skills to surrounding communities.

One of the beneficiaries mentioned that they were excited about the new structures.

“We have a fully functional toilet now and then playing courts will come in handy when we pass time. I’m so thankful for the Ambassador’s program and being part of it,” she said.
