MBABANE– Amapiano continues to grow globally while influencing artists from all other genres and has also become a favorite to a lot of people internationally.

A viral video of Uncle Waffles’ ‘Tanzania’ banger being played at Kendall Jenner’s Drink 818 party has everyone going crazy.

Kendall Jenner’s inner circle recently joined her to celebrate the second annual summer party for her 818 Tequila brand.

As everyone would know, it is not a Kardashian/Jenner vibes if it is not big vibes.

Kendall Jenner is a fashion model and reality star, having grown up on her family’s ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ reality show. She has appeared on the cover of Love and many international Vogue editions, as well as walking for Victoria’s Secret and acting as a brand ambassador for Estée Lauder’s multimedia ad campaigns.

 As explained in a statement from the award-winning liquor company, guests got to sample the new Eight Reserve by 818, launched the same day.

The new spirit, made in Jalisco, Mexico, is described as a blend of one-year-old Añejo and extra Añejos as old as eight years which creates a level of complexity, softness, and depth rarely experienced in Tequila.

What grabbed everyone’s attention the most was the background music where Eswatini’s very own Uncle Waffles ‘Tanzania’ song.

Amapiano continues to make global waves and this recent video proves it even it better. The song, by Uncle Waffles Tonyduardo featuring Sinomsolo and Real Boibizza was played.

Uncle Waffles, real name Lungelihle Zwane, broke into the industry after a video of her went viral dancing during a DJ set in Soweto. In 2022 she dropped her debut project, marking her actual musical breakthrough.

 Her EP Red Dragon has millions of listens across various streaming platforms, and her hit song Tanzania went quadruple platinum in September.

As if that is not enough the artist has also been made part of the 2023 Coachella, and now recently she forms part of the world’s biggest Afro beats festival and will return to Portimão’s sun-kissed coast this summer. The announcement follows the news of Afro Nation’s debut US show in Miami in May 2023, which will feature Burna Boy, WizKid, Rema, Asake, Beanie Man, and more.

The shows come on the heels of the second edition of Afro Nation Ghana on December 29-30 2022, celebrating the best in Afrobeats, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, Amapiano, soca, and other Black-led musical genres.
