It seems only the sky is the limit for Amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles as she has sold out all her 10 shows in the United States of America (USA).
Taking to social media to announce the news, Uncle Waffles said she was still in disbelief that she sold out 10 shows on her tour.
Born Lungelihle Zwane, the star said she was humbled by the world wide support and people who took time to go all out and support her.
“Sold out every show on my tour thus far, I cannot begin to explain how crazy that feels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who came out,” said the disc jockey.
Uncle Waffles had announced her USA tour in November. Taking to social media, the star shared the dates and venues; the tour took place on November 23 to December 2022.
This is not the first time the star sells out her shows, her first sold out show was in Ghana, since her swashbuckling breakthrough into the industry a year ago, the 22-year-old has extensively toured Africa and been a mainstay on stages in Nigeria, Ghana and Tanzania in particular.
In July, she embarked on a European ‘Summer Tour’ that saw her play in France, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, Finland and the UK This came after her first major tour to the UK throughout March.
The ‘Tanzania’ hitmaker is also balancing her work as a DJ with her radio hosting on BBC 1 Radio and pushing her music career.
After releasing her debut EP, ‘Red Dragon’, earlier in the year, she recently released a gorgeous, colourful music video for the project’s lead single, ‘Tanzania’. The video is sitting on more than a million views on YouTube which was attained in two days after release.
“And we’re live. Being a creative has been such a vulnerable thing but I’m truly grateful to be able to put out work. My first baby is officially out and LINK IN BIO BABY. Also, I truly respect the art of pole dancing, what an extreme sport,” she had said when debuting her music video.
She has also been collecting endorsement deals like accolades, last week she announced that she had partnered with KFC South Africa. Sprite, Kotex and Jägermeister are some of the brands that Uncle Waffles has closely worked with.
