The upcoming Pop Sunday event on May 14, 2023, is set to be a big one. Not only is Uncle Waffles headlining the event but the team behind Pop Sunday is aiming for fun lovers from across the border.
One of the organizers Mkay said: “Head to Eswatini this weekend and soak in the breathtaking scenery and warm hospitality, topped off with an unforgettable Sunday afternoon at Pop Sunday: The Dragons Den. Join friends and family for an exciting line-up, do not miss out on this experience,”
Meanwhile, Uncle Waffles said she was looking forward to being home again. She asked all her fans to make their way to the event and look out for her.
“I’m looking forward to being home, I ask all my followers and fun lovers to head out and have a good time with us on Sunday,” she said.
Meanwhile, Mkay the organizer said putting together the event was coming along great, he said the remaining Line up will be released as the week progresses.
“It is fulfilling for us event organizers knowing that we are part of something that benefits everyone that gets involved. It can be a heavy load to bear sometimes the shows do not generate enough revenue to cover things, but we have always found a way to balance things. The few corporations that we have partnered with add to the fuel we need to keep going as well as the support of the attendees who don’t miss any of our shows,” he said.
In addition, he said every Pop Sunday was different as they have actually never repeated the same thing, but this time for the 2023 season they have made plans to make the difference very hard to miss. “ This year we have more games, engaging event plan layouts, more games for kids, better sound and various other aspects that those who are looking for the perfect Sunday outing will note and appreciate,” he said.
