EZULWINI – Are you a DJ, florist, photographer, event planner, caterer, wedding designer, or cake designer? Then grab a chance to showcase and be part of the Wedding Expo next month.
The Ezulwini Municipality is inviting exhibitors and vendors to register with them for its debut Wedding Expo to be hosted on March 16, 2024, at the Sharma House in Ezulwini.
The wedding expo will be an event where various wedding-related businesses and service providers come together to showcase their products and services to couples and those offering or involved in wedding planning.
When reached for comment, the Ezulwini Municipality Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mathokoza Shongwe, said the expo aims to provide a one-stop shop experience, allowing attendees to explore different options and make informed decisions about various aspects of their events, from venues, catering, attire, decorations, and photography.
Shongwe invited members of the public to save the date and the vendors to come and sign up for the expo stalls as soon as possible. He said the stalls would be different in size. There will be 3m by 3m stalls and 1.5m by 1.5m stalls for vendors with nothing to display except for their portfolios.
Shongwe said, “The wedding expo will boost tourism in the town by attracting event participants, who will not only attend the event but also dine in local restaurants, explore nearby attractions, and stay in local hotels, contributing to the local economy. This will also showcase the town and encourage participants to bring more business and weddings into the town,” he said.
The event will also showcase innovative products, services, and trends within the wedding industry, positioning the expo as a hub for staying updated on the latest offerings.
Registration forms for vendors and service providers who wish to participate in the wedding expo will be available at the municipal offices, on the municipal website www.ezulwini.co.sz, and on the social media handles @ezulwinimunicipality for posters and updates. The 1.5mx1.5m booth is E300, while the 3mx3m booth is E500.
Vendors who can apply are as follows;
Venues: Event spaces, banquet halls, outdoor venues, and unique locations suitable for weddings.
Photographers and Videographers: Professionals specializing in capturing weddings through photography and videography.
Florists: Floral designers offering bouquets, centrepieces, and decorative arrangements.
Bridal and Groom Attire: Bridal shops, suit retailers, and designers showcasing wedding dresses, suits, and accessories.
Caterers: Catering services providing food and beverage options for wedding receptions.
Wedding Planners: Wedding planning professionals offering their expertise in organising and coordinating weddings.
Cake Designers/Bakers: Bakers and cake designers showcasing wedding cakes and dessert options.
Jewellery Designers: Jewellers featuring wedding rings, accessories, and custom jewellery designs.
Makeup and Hair Stylists: Beauty professionals offering bridal makeup and hairstyling services.
Invitation Designers: Stationery experts specialising in wedding invitations, save-the-dates, and related items.
Entertainment: DJs, live bands, and other entertainment options for wedding receptions.
Event Rental Companies: Companies providing rental items such as tables, chairs, linens, and décor.
Travel and Honeymoon Specialists: Travel agencies and specialists offering honeymoon planning services.
Transportation Services: Transportation providers offering wedding day transportation for couples and guests
It is worth mentioning that all applications are on a first-come, first-served basis and that the municipality has the right to reserve admission. Pets are not allowed at this event.
