MBABANE – Vulamasango High School will close for Christmas holidays on Friday with a smile after they were today crowned champions of the 2021 Junior Achievement (JA) Eswatini National Expo Competition.
The champions have been crowned by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo.
Vulamasango walks away with E10 000 cash and a trophy for their hydropower system project.
For this achievement, the champions will also represent the Kingdom of Eswatini during the Entrepreneurship World Cup to be held in Mauritius in March next year.
“I was happy to see that even children from special schools were part of the competition. The instilling of this knowledge at a younger age will ensure that we have great leaders in future who will lead with power and integrity,” said Minister Khumalo when presenting the trophy.
During the same competition, St Mary’s High School were crowned runners up for their solar pouch project while St. Mark’s High School came third with their digital marketing app project. Vulamasango’s Liyandza Dlamini was crowned Best CEO.
