Mbabane- A community with a golden heart.

The community of Vuvulane and emaSwati have come to the rescue of Gogo Vilane and her grandson Siphetfo Vilane of Khomba in Vuvulane whose house was reduced to ashes after her house caught a fire two weeks ago.

The fire was started by a candle which was left unattended. Gogo Vilanane is living with impaired legs and arms and hence wheelchair bound.  Both Vilane and eleven year old Siphetfo (grandson) managed to escape unharmed.

The family lost everything in the fire including Siphetfo’s school books, mattress and clothes.

The caring, understanding, support and sharing spirit of EmaSwati managed to raise E12 000 for the family and sort out everything they needed including food, clothes, a brand new double bed and a cash balance of E1 800 was given to gogo Vilane to cover her medical bills and school bus fare costs for her grandson. Siphetfo’s school was kind enough to also have replace his burnt books with no extra cost.
