MANZINI-The youth in the Manzini Region has nothing but praise for the efforts the Government of Eswatini has made to ensure job security for them.
The youth under Insika Yelikusasa Lensha Yeswatini Project received start-up tool kits as beneficiaries for sustainable livelihoods.
The tools were handed over by Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Harries Madze Bulunga and the Republic of China to Taiwan Ambassador, Jeremy Liang.
It is worth mentioning that this is the third awarding event in the Manzini region.
Thulani Mkhatshwa said he was grateful for the tools because they would help him become independent and generate income.
“Tools are a necessity for any business to run. Having my own tools assures and guarantees me a job I can work on anytime, anywhere at any given time. It is a weight off my shoulders,” said Zamekile Methula.
The Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs said the initiative would help the youth become independent.
“This initiative will help the youth become more independent and create job opportunities for themselves and their peers with similar interests,” he said. He further mentioned that he encourages the beneficiaries to visit Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund offices to expand their businesses.
