MBABANE- Members of the Public have come out to say they are looking forward to joining their Majesties in the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Christ.
Randomly interviewed members of the public revealed that the highlight of April, besides the litany of holidays, was being in the presence of God with their Majesties.
This comes shortly after the President of the Swaziland Council of Churches Arch and Deacon Bhekindlela Magongo encouraged the Christian fraternity countrywide to join Their Majesties in the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Christ the Lord.
The Good Friday services are going to be held from Friday, April 7, 2023, to Monday, April 10, 2023, at Lobamba National Church and Somhlolo National Stadium respectively.
Worth noting is that last year the theme for the National Prayer was ‘Let us go back to the Lord, He will heal our land’.
BELOW IS WHAT SOME PEOPLE HAD TO SAY :
SABELO THWALA
I will definitely be going, I want to pray for the country and claim to the Lord to bring peace, unity and prosperity to the kingdom of Eswatini in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
MAKHOSI VILANE
I will be traveling all the way from Nhlangano with my church and we want to be part of the ushering on of the Lord and his promises. The country needs a mass prayer and this is the chance.
NOLWAZI MAGAGULA
I’m always there every year and I have a feeling this year is going to be bigger and better, because COVID-19 is not as bad now. I cannot wait to praise the Lord among His Majesty who is also going to share a word or two.
PHESHEYA MNISI
If people think snubbing this event is doing them any good, then they are mistaken. This is a good time to get closer to God and usher in the year on a good note. This has nothing to do with politics or The King but the Good Jesus that died for our sins.
HHOHHO DLAMINI
I encourage everyone to go there and make peace with everything. This is a good platform to ask for things and praise the Lord. My family and I will be there from beginning to end.
SIZA MAMBA
All I can say is, let us go out there and pray. This country needs prayer and we all know what the Bible says about two or more people that have come together in the name of the Lord.
