MBABANE – Mbabane East aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) might be a step closer to attaining all his dreams for his constituency.

Yesterday, evening when the counting of votes for the special voting exercise was underway at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, it was revealed that Dlamini garnered a total of 134 votes leading the pack, and was closely followed by Lucky Dube with 112 votes.
As it stands Dlamini seems to be a favorite candidate as more electorates will on Friday cast their votes under Mbabane East constituency to assure him a seat in parliament.

Dlamini’s campaign manager Mbongeni Ndlela said they were pleased with the results and humbled by the support from people.

“ We waited patiently for the results and we are happy people voted. We are extremely happy and humbled. Friday we are hoping more people come out to make the right decision,” said an elated Ndlela.

Worth mentioning is that the Deputy Chairman of Elections Boundaries Commission (EBC) Bishop Sipho Tembe and Commissioner DR Njabu Dlamini closely monitored the vote counting after the special voting exercise.
