MBABANE – World Vision staff attended a Stress Management and Health Activity that was held at Sibane Sami Hotel.
The session was organized by Muna Healthlife Eswatini and it was mostly about capacitating the attendees on managing personal stress for improved mental health. This publication has gathered that the day activities included breathing exercises, effective communication role play exercises to name a few and they all aimed at determining and enhancing healthy and effective engagement.
World Vision Programme Development Evidence and Impact Lead, Humble Nxumalo said they were excited to be part of this activity and they were positively impacted by the exercises they did there.
“This was a really great and much needed time because one realises that our work is very intense and often has tight deadlines, which can cause a lot of stress for employees. Now we know how to handle our work stress and also personal stress,” said Nxumalo.
World Vision Associate Director, Faith Ngwenya motivated the World Vision staff to take time out to rest now and then, saying being committed to yourself and family is as important as being committed to the work they do.
