MBABANE- Educational in a fashionable way!
This is the ‘Men’s in Leadership Session’ which was held by World Vision Eswatini in the morning at Dwaleni Farm Lodge.
According to the World Vision Eswatini Facebook page, males employed by the organisation were gathered at the lodge, to discuss different issues affecting leadership as men.
“As a Christian organisation, it is for everyone’s best reason to sometimes gather and share the word of God, and to guide each other on how to serve the most vulnerable,” read the statement on the page.
Themed ‘Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another’, the session was flocked by men who were looking fashionable in the vintage wear- which was also the order of the day.
World Vision Communications and Campaigns Manager Lungile Dlamini confirmed the event theme, stating that it was not a first of its kind.
“We also hosted a similar event for women in the organisation. We now hosted this one for men so they could share their sentiments as well,” said Dlamini.
Objective for the session:
– To provide a conducive and relaxed environment for men leaders to discuss contemporary issues affecting their performance.
– To provide strategies and skills to men leaders and allow them to effectively perform, multi task and manage in the work environment.
– To build confidence, emotional intelligence and excellence through learning from other men leaders in professional industry, business and the spiritual spheres of life.
– To network and foster a positive work culture for men in the organisation.
