Young Zesh’s hit song “KaKhoza” has once again lit flames in the hearts of Eswatini art lovers after the the video for the song was released on Friday, September 9. The video garnered more than 10,000 views in the first 24 hours, and it has already surpassed 20,000 views in under a week. This is a record for Eswatini music videos.
“KaKhoza” is a single from Young Zesh’s debut album titled “Ligcebesha” which is heavily influenced by Eswatini culture. Young Zesh, an Afro-Pop and Hip Hop fusion sensation from Mvutjini, dropped the album in August and it has been on top of streaming charts for local music since.
The KaKhoza video showcases Young Zesh and Lyrikal Busta’s charismatic performance of the hit song, with a story that takes the viewer through the streets of Mbabane to Manzini. Emaswati have deeply resonated with the video, as shown by the number of views and the comments being posted in reaction to the video.

The visuals for “KaKhoza” were filmed and directed by award winning Direktor Kwenu of Motion Skies, who has been behind a lot of award winning visuals in the country.
